Pioneers Park Nature Center is a 668-acre City of Lincoln nature preserve - tallgrass prairie, woodlands, wetlands, and a stream with 8+ miles of hiking trails. The site houses non-releasable raptors, plus bison, elk, and white-tailed deer in fenced viewing areas.
Discovery, Explorers & Navigators Camps
Year-round programming spans age 3 through high school. Programs include:
- Discovery Camp (ages 3-6, half-day)
- Explorers Camp (grades K-5)
- Navigators Camp (grades 6-8)
- Hikes, creek and pond exploration
- Archery and fishing
- Arts and crafts
- Bird garden and herb garden
