Downtown Musical Theater Academy
Pittsburgh CLO Academy of Musical Theater is in its 27th year of training young performers from downtown Pittsburgh, with instructors ranging from working Equity actors to college professors from Carnegie Mellon and Point Park universities.
Kids and Teen Musical Theater Programs
Programming covers a full conservatory model. Offerings include:
- CLO Academy Classes in voice, dance, piano, and acting
- Academy Productions (fall, winter, spring) for ages 8-18
- Camps on Campus and Summer Semester
- Pittsburgh CLO Mini Stars for younger performers
- New Horizons Program for children with disabilities

Experience
Students train across voice, dance, and acting with conservatory-level instructors, progressing from beginner classes into academy productions and the Student School program for ages 10-18.
