Planet Han
About
Planet Han on the Upper West Side
Planet Han teaches Mandarin Chinese to children from age one through the teen years using its proprietary Model.Action.Talk. (M.A.T.) method, designed to engage every child to learn Mandarin regardless of ethnicity or home language. From its Upper West Side home on West End Avenue, with a second Upper East Side location on Third Avenue, the program is built to grow with the child, beginning with a Han Toddler track and progressing into structured speaking and writing classes as kids mature.

Experience
What sets Planet Han apart is its content-based approach: children use Mandarin to explore real subjects rather than studying it in isolation, which reinforces vocabulary in context and keeps lessons hands-on. For New York families who want a serious, kid-focused Mandarin program with depth and flexibility, Planet Han delivers both.
