Pearl District Professional Theatre with Teen Programs

Portland Center Stage is Portland's largest professional theatre, housed in the historic Armory in the Pearl District. The teen programs are organized around the Summer Teen Theater Academy and free year-round masterclasses.

Teen Programs Grades 8-12

Summer intensives plus free year-round programming. Programs include:
- Summer Teen Theater Academy (musical theater + scene/monologue acting)
- PCS Teens (free year-round masterclasses on select Sundays)
- Teen Playwrights (month-long playwriting residencies)
- Free matinee viewings of PCS mainstage productions
- Masterclasses (acting for film, stage combat, choreography, improvisation)
- Public readings of student-written plays with professional actors

• Faculty from PCS resident company and guest professionals
• Need-based scholarships (tuition $250-$1,050)
• Working Equity theater as classroom
