Founded in 2014 by a husband-and-wife team passionate about grappling, Rochester Jiu Jitsu serves Irondequoit and the wider Monroe County area with dedicated kids and adult mats.
Kids BJJ and Judo
Separate kids tracks split between Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. Programs include:
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for kids
- Judo for kids
- School-break day camps
- Muay Thai (adult/teen)
What's Included
- Mats and rental gi for trial classes
- Black-belt instruction
- Small group ratios on the kids mat
Experience
Family-run gym with a competition team and a steady recreational track. Kids start with basic positional control and partner drilling, then layer in throws (judo) or guard work (BJJ) once technique is grooved.
