Somerville Pop Warner Football and Cheer (the Somervillens, formerly the Jr. Highlanders) is a non-profit youth football and cheer program bringing together boys and girls from Somerville. The program plays its home games and practices at Trum Field on Broadway between Cedar and Lowell.

Tackle football and cheer for Somerville youth. Programs include:
- Tackle football across Pop Warner age divisions
- Cheer program for football season
- Grades 5 and 6 boys and girls travel teams

Experience

The season starts August 1 and runs through November. The Somervillens name reflects the modern rebranding of the program from its prior Jr. Highlanders identity, while continuing the long-running Somerville youth football tradition.
