South Florida PGA Junior Golf Tour

1,200+ Junior Members and 100 Tournaments Annually

The South Florida PGA Junior Golf Tour is one of the largest junior competitive golf organizations in the state, with over 1,200 members ages 6–18 and approximately 100 tournaments per year. Three tour levels let players compete at the right intensity for their skill — from 9-hole introductory events to 36-hole championship formats on premier courses.

Programs

Three tiered tournament series by skill level:
- Links Tour (ages 6–18) — beginner-friendly 9-hole stroke play with a fun, low-stress approach
- Prep Tour (ages 9–18) — intermediate single-day 18-hole events, February through November
- Medalist Tour (ages 11–18) — championship 36-hole tournaments on premier courses for aspiring high school and college golfers

Experience

The SFPGA Junior Tour is the primary competitive pathway for junior golfers in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach metro areas. The Links Tour makes tournament golf accessible to kids as young as 6 with short-format events, while the Medalist Tour delivers the kind of 36-hole championship experience that college recruiters look for. The sheer volume of events (100/year) means kids can play as often as their schedule allows.
