Memorial-Area Family Sports Tradition

Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association (SBMSA) is a long-running, volunteer-led non-profit that runs football, baseball, and other youth sports for kids on Houston's west side. The football program has been a fixture of the Spring Branch / Memorial community for decades.

Programs for Kids

Football for kindergarten through 8th grade across multiple formats. Programs include:
- Flag Football (ages 5-7)
- Tackle Football (ages 8-11)
- 7on7 Football (summer and fall)
- Spirit/Cheer (grades 2-6)

What's Included

• Volunteer head coaches and team staff
• Fall season practices begin mid-to-late August
• Regular season games September through October, playoffs into mid-November
• Games played at Reggie Grob Stadium and the SBMSA Fields next to it

Experience

Community-rooted football for boys and girls, organized by school grade with an April 30 cutoff for division placement. A good fit for west-Houston families that want a structured but neighborhood-feeling football and cheer experience.
