SWIMBABES is one of Oregon's oldest swim schools, operating on SE 52nd Avenue in Milwaukie (south Portland metro). Founded in 1941, the school specializes in Swim Survival Safety for infants and young children using a proven turn-and-float method.
Programs for Kids
Lessons focus on the youngest swimmers with structured progression by age. Programs include:
- Newborn-17 months (parent/child classes)
- 17 months-3 years (toddler classes)
- 4-7 years (preschool & beginning survival)
- Advanced swimmer sessions (ages 4-9, by instructor invitation)
