Drawing and Mosaic Art Classes in Ann Arbor

Talking Colors is a small-group art school in Ann Arbor offering drawing and mosaic courses for students ages 6 and up. Summer sessions run Monday through Friday with weekly enrollment options.

Programs for Ages 6 and Up

Summer programs run in weekly sessions throughout July. Programs include:
- Drawing (Mon-Fri 9-11am): pencils, colored pencils, pastels, ink, charcoal, markers - student chooses subjects
- Mosaic (Mon-Fri 11:30am-2pm): one large-scale 24x24" mosaic using porcelain, ceramic, glass tiles, stained glass, and mirrors

What's Included

• All materials provided for both programs
• Drawing: range of dry and wet media
• Mosaic: full tile selection, grouting completed on final day

Experience

Small-group format lets students work at their own pace. The drawing program allows students to choose their own subjects - nature, animals, cartoons, architecture, or fantasy - while the mosaic course produces one substantial finished piece over the week.
