Two-Building Aquarium on the Tennessee River
Tennessee Aquarium sits on the Tennessee River in downtown Chattanooga and houses about 10,000 animals across two buildings plus an IMAX theater. The River Journey building traces freshwater ecosystems from Appalachian streams to the sea; the Ocean Journey building covers saltwater habitats.
