Established Mandarin School at Lake Highland Prep
The Chinese School of CAACF has taught Mandarin to Central Florida kids for decades, operating its weekend classes out of Lake Highland Prep School's Charles Clayton Campus. One of the state's most established Chinese-language programs, CAACF takes students from age four through adults and organizes classes by proficiency rather than age alone.
Programs Offered
Classes are grouped into three proficiency tracks with cultural add-ons:
- Beginner Mandarin (ages 4+)
- Intermediate Mandarin
- Advanced Mandarin
- Cultural activities (calligraphy, dance, music) as semester add-ons
- Traditional Mandarin track via Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning
