The Culinary Institute of America's San Antonio campus at Pearl opens its professional teaching kitchens to the community with hands-on classes for young cooks. Kids learn alongside CIA instructors in the same facility that trains culinary students.
Classes for Kids
Youth programs are grouped by age so children join the right level. Programs include:
- Young Chef Classes for ages 8 to 12, covering kitchen safety, knife skills, and kid-friendly recipes
- Family Funday Classes for ages 4 and up, taken together with an adult
- Multi-day kids camps, including an America's Test Kitchen collaboration

Experience
