Inclusive Performing Arts for Reno-Area Youth
TheatreWorks of Northern Nevada (TWNN), founded in 2004, is a Reno-Sparks teaching theater that offers performing arts classes for young people, with explicit focus on neurodivergent kids including those with Autism, ADHD, ADD, and ODD, and on underserved families.
Classes for Kids
Programming targets early childhood through teens, with class formats designed to lower barriers for first-time and neurodivergent performers. Offerings include:
- Littles Acting Classes (ages 3-6)
- Confidence-building through theatre games
- Improvisation classes
- Outreach programs at local shelters, youth centers, and hospitals
- Mixed-ability inclusive environment
- Year-round class cycles
