Tualatin Hills Parks & Rec Tackle Football

Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) runs the public youth tackle football program for Beaverton and the surrounding metro area. THPRD operates Beaverton Youth Football and partners with TVYFL.

Football Programs for Kids

THPRD fields age-banded tackle football teams for grades 3-8 with a fall regular season. Programs include:
- Youth tackle football (Grades 3-8, ages roughly 8-14)
- September-November fall season
- TVYFL-affiliated league play

• League play plus playoffs

Experience

Kids learn tackle fundamentals - blocking, tackling form, route-running, team play - in a structured parks district program backed by Beaverton HS coaching support. Suited for elementary and middle school players committing to a full Fall season.
