Tiger Kicks Martial Arts on Limestone Road
Tiger Kicks Martial Arts is a traditional World Taekwondo dojang on Limestone Road in the Pike Creek / Brandywine Hundred area of north Wilmington, serving families across Wilmington, Pike Creek, Hockessin, Greenville, Newark, and the western New Castle County corridor. The school is led by Master Ha Young Seo, a former Korean National Taekwondo Team member - a rare credential in American taekwondo and a clear marker of competition-level instruction.
Kids Martial Arts Programs
The kids taekwondo program follows the WT Olympic-style curriculum taught in Kukkiwon-affiliated dojangs worldwide:
- Stances and basic blocks
- Taegeuk poomsae forms
- Full range of kicks: front, roundhouse, side, axe, spinning, jumping
- Structured one-step sparring and controlled kyorugi with protective gear
- Progression through kyu/poom belt ranks toward black belt

Experience
Beyond the technical syllabus, instructors weave the five tenets into how kids handle setbacks at the dojang, at school, and in family life, explicitly aiming to make students non-violent, confident, and intentional.
