Triad Baptist Church runs the Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading program from its campus on South Main Street in Kernersville. Upward is a national faith-based youth sports brand, and the Triad Baptist league is one of the larger Upward chapters in the Winston-Salem area.

Programs

Recreational flag football and sideline cheer with a Christian-character focus. Programs include:
- Flag football for players ages 5-14 (as of August 1st)
- Cheerleading for girls ages 5-11
- Fall league season

What's Included

• One-hour game and one-hour practice each week
• Coaching that emphasizes sportsmanship and self-esteem
• Faith-based devotionals as part of the program

Experience

The Upward model focuses on building a healthy competitive spirit and developing athletic skills in young athletes, with the season running from mid-August through the end of October. Family-friendly format keeps the time commitment low compared to travel-team programs.
