Wado-Ryu Karate at Edison Community Center
USA Wado Ryu operates inside the Edison Community Center on Magnolia Street in southeast Huntington Beach, one stop in a three-location Orange County network teaching traditional Wado-Ryu karate. Sensei Nishimura leads instruction at the HB program. The community-center setting keeps overhead low and pricing accessible compared to commercial dojo storefronts.
Kids Karate Programs
Children's classes are split into two age tiers running three weekday afternoons, with continuation pathways through teen and adult ranks. Programs include:
- Beginner Kids, Under 6 years (Monday, Thursday, Friday 5:00-5:45pm)
- Intermediate Kids, Under 14 years (Monday, Thursday, Friday 5:45-7:15pm)
- Advanced Youth and Adult (Thursday and Friday 7:15-8:15pm)
- Kobudo Weapons Training (Friday 8:00-8:30pm, for advanced students)
