VST STARS Youth Theater Program

Virginia Samford Theatre's STARS program is a 501(c)(3) youth nonprofit running after-school classes, summer camp, and all-student productions at the historic Virginia Samford Theatre, serving anyone ages 7-18 regardless of prior experience.

Programs for Kids and Teens

Curriculum spans performance fundamentals to production crafts. Offerings include:
- After-school classes
- STARS Camp VST (ages 7-15) - singing, dancing, stage combat, costume/set design, playwriting, Shakespeare
- STARS Summer Studio (ages 12-18, prior experience required)
- All-student productions throughout the year
- Open enrollment with no audition gate
