Community Arts Center in Walker's Point
Walker's Point Center for the Arts (WPCA) is a nonprofit arts hub in Milwaukee's Walker's Point neighborhood running youth after-school classes, spring break camps, and an 8-week summer art camp with guest artists.
Youth Programs (Ages 6-18)
After-school, semester-long classes plus seasonal intensives. Programs include:
- Afterschool Art Classes (Wed/Thu/Fri 4-6pm, ages 6-14)
- Youth Empowerment Week (spring break, ages 6-14)
- Summer Art Camp (8 weeks, June-August, different medium each week with guest artist)
- CMAP Creative Multimedia Internship (teens 15-18)
- ROOTS Art Residency for Youth (teens 15-18)
What's Included
- Semester registration fee ($50) covers all classes and materials for the semester
- Guest artists each week of summer camp
- Sliding-scale fees for spring break programming
