America's Oldest Theatre, Founded 1809
Walnut Street Theatre is America's oldest theatre and a National Historic Landmark on Walnut Street in Center City. The Theatre School, founded in 1984, is the largest theatre training program in the Delaware Valley, enrolling roughly 1,200 students per year.
Classes for Kids Through Teens
Three sessions a year (Fall, Spring, Summer) plus camps. Programs include:
