The Zoological Society runs themed day camps and education programs year-round. Programs include:
- Summer Day Camp with weekly themes
- Mini Camp (teacher planning days)
- Conservation Discovery Saturdays
- Junior Wildlife Adventurers
- Behind-the-scenes animal encounters
- School field trips and outreach
What's Included
- Educator-led sessions with live animal interactions
- Camp access to keeper talks and exhibits
- Snacks and craft materials
Experience
Kids spend the day moving between habitats, watching keepers feed and train animals, and getting hands-on with biofacts (skulls, pelts, eggs). Most camp time is outdoors - Miami sun is no joke, so bring water and sunscreen. Strong fit for kids who love animals over screen time.
