Experience
Aikido is a Japanese soft-grappling martial art focused on redirecting attacker momentum rather than striking - distinct from BJJ (ground grappling) and Judo (throws). Suits kids who prefer non-competitive, philosophical martial arts with a strong harmony-based mindset. Younger kids work on basic falling and partner exercises; older kids progress through full techniques (nikyo, sankyo, kotegaeshi) and weapons exposure.
