Three-Acre Adventure Playground in Greenbrier
Chesapeake City Park sits in the heart of Greenbrier and centers on the Fun Forest, a 3-acre community-built playground originally constructed in 1995 by over 1,800 volunteers. Fun Forest won the Virginia Recreation and Parks Society "Best New Facility in Virginia" award in 1996.
Family Programs
Open-access play and outdoor recreation across the park grounds. Programs include:
- Fun Forest imagination playground (shaky bridge, dolphin slide, tunnels)
- Fossil Dig sandbox with buried dinosaur fossils
- Swings, planes, and trucks across the play structure
- Open lawns, picnic shelters, and walking paths

Experience
