Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge is a U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service refuge spanning the Virginia / North Carolina border, accessible from the Suffolk visitor area just west of Chesapeake. The refuge protects one of the largest remaining intact forested wetlands on the East Coast.

- Lake Drummond paddling access
