Flandrau Science Center Summer Fusion Camp at U of Arizona
University of Arizona's flagship science center on E University Boulevard runs week-long summer camps inside the museum's classrooms and planetarium. Camps are themed by topic and grade band, with full-day schedules taking advantage of UA campus resources.
Programs for Grades 2 through 8
Sessions split by entering-grade band so younger campers stay in foundational science and older kids tackle deeper topics. Programs include:
- Space Mission Wildcat for middle schoolers
- Zoom In microscopic worlds
- Black Hole Odyssey cosmology
- Space Adventures solar system tour
- Nature's Fury natural disasters
- Construction Zone engineering design
- Force and Fizz physics and chemistry
- Below the Surface hidden environments
- Engineering Quest daily building challenges

- Use of Flandrau classroom and planetarium facilities
- Educator-led small cohorts

- Daily 9:00 to 3:30 schedule with extended drop-off and pickup windows
