Camp J Traditional Day Camp at the Tucson JCC
Tucson Jewish Community Center on E River Road runs Camp J across 10 weeks each summer, with grade-banded units from rising kindergarten through 10th grade. The format is traditional day camp with arts, athletics, swimming, cooking, and a STEM track.
Programs from Rising K through 10th Grade
Units split by age band so each cohort is sized appropriately and counselor ratios stay consistent. Units include:
- Noar for Rising K
- Shalom for Rising 1st-2nd
- Giborim for Rising 3rd-5th
- Tiyul for Rising 6th-8th
- Nisayon for Rising 9th-10th
- Optional before/after care 7am-6pm
- Inclusion program for kids with disabilities
