Platt Park Cooking School with a Kids Camp Track
Food Lab runs hands-on cooking instruction out of a teaching kitchen on South Pearl Street in Denver's Platt Park neighborhood, with weekly summer camps and birthday parties for kids alongside adult cooking classes.
Kids Programs
Ages 5 and up (must be in kindergarten). 2026 summer camps:
- Asia Summer Camp - June 1-5, July 13-17, August 17-21
- Baking Boot Camp - June 8-12, June 29-July 3, July 20-24
- Italy Summer Camp - June 15-19, July 27-31
- Baking Fan Favorites Camp
- Flavors of the Mediterranean Camp - July 6-10, August 10-14
Camps run Monday-Friday in either morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon (1-4pm) blocks for $410/week.
Birthday parties available as a separate booking.

Experience
Themed week-long camps that let kids cook real, complete dishes from one cuisine over the five days. Half-day format keeps younger campers fresh; small kitchen environment means closer instructor attention than larger camp programs.
