Food Literacy Center is a Sacramento nonprofit operating a 4,500 square foot cooking school at Floyd Farms in South Sacramento, adjacent to Leataata Floyd Elementary on a 2.5-acre site between The Mill at Broadway and Seavey Circle. Mission focus is inspiring kids to eat vegetables through hands-on cooking and nutrition education.
Programs for Kids
Free and low-cost programming serving K-6 students plus weekend community classes. Programs include:
- After-school cooking classes (K-6, weekly)
- Garden-to-table cooking sessions

Experience
