Soil Born Farms is a nonprofit community farm at the American River Ranch - 55 acres of working farmland inside the American River Parkway. The Roots & Wings family education program runs nature-based learning across multiple age tracks.
Roots & Wings Programs
Family classes for toddlers, kid-only classes for older children, and full-week summer camps. Programs include:
- Li'l Sprouts in the Garden (ages 3-5, with parent)
- Just for Kids classes (ages 6-11)
- Summer Day Camp (pre-K through 6th grade)
- Homeschool classes
- Field trips for schools
- After-school program
