Heroes Martial Arts Academy on Gadsden Highway is one of the premiere teaching facilities for martial arts and personal safety in Alabama, serving the Birmingham, Trussville and Clay communities. The academy combines Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, MMA and Combat Submission Wrestling under one roof, with a dedicated youth program built for confidence and personal safety.
Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA
Hero Youth Classes split kids by age and skill with a clean grappling-first progression. Programs include:

Experience
Strong technical pedigree under the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu umbrella plus a reality-based self-defense lens that's unusual for most kids martial arts schools. Younger kids start with body control, falling and partner balance games; older kids drill BJJ positions, transitions and live rolls with optional crossover into MMA and submission wrestling as they mature.
