The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is downtown Eugene's anchor performing arts venue, running a Creative Learning department that delivers free student matinees, paid summer camps, and partner workshops for kids of all grades.
Student Matinees, Camps, and Workshops
Programming pairs the resident company outreach with main-venue educational performances. Programs include:
- Free Student Matinees for all grades (4,300+ students served in 2025-26 across six performances)
- Center Stage Performing Arts Camp (ages 6-18, August 17-22, 2026, 9:30am-3:30pm)
- Free or low-fee workshops with professional artists
- Ballet Fantastique outreach for Title I and rural schools
- Eugene Symphony youth concerts
- Partner programming with Eugene Public Library and Pegasus Playhouse
