About

LUX Center for the Arts is Lincoln's North 48th Street community art center, with kids classes spanning grade-school sketchbook clubs through teen wheel-throwing.

  • Summer Art Camp (grades K-10) - week-long themed day camps
  • Wheel Throwing - youth pottery sessions on electric wheels
  • Comics & Illustrating - sequential art and character design classes
  • Needle Felt a Woodland Creature - and other one-off fiber-arts workshops

What's Included

Materials, kiln firing for ceramics, and instructor time are bundled into class fees. The center maintains a working ceramic studio with electric wheels and kilns plus dedicated 2D and printmaking spaces.
