MARA Colts Football

Matthews's 70-Year Sports Association

Matthews Athletic & Recreation Association (MARA) has run youth sports out of Arthur Goodman Memorial Park in Matthews since 1956. The MARA Colts football program is part of Pop Warner and operates on the same private 15-acre park as the rest of the association's sports.

Programs for Kids

Football, cheer, and many other sports for kids ages 7-12. Programs include:
- Tackle football (8U through 12U)
- Co-ed and girls-only flag football
- 7v7 football
- Cheer
- Baseball, basketball, softball, track, Bambino Ball

What's Included

• Coaching staff trained in USA Football standards
• Background-checked volunteers
• Three football fields and 11 diamond fields on the private 15-acre park
• Practice gear, helmet, shoulder pads and game uniform included with registration
