100-Acre Zoo in Knowland Park
Oakland Zoo occupies 100 acres in Knowland Park in the Oakland hills, home to more than 750 animals including elephants, big cats, and California natives. The zoo's California Trail exhibit is one of the most ambitious native-species spaces in any U.S. zoo.
ZooCamp & Education
Year-round camps and school programs run from the dedicated education building. Programs include:
