City Parks and Recreation Theatre Program
Perform Murfreesboro is the City of Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation theatre arm, producing four full youth shows each season at Thompson Lane facilities. Programming targets four distinct cohorts: homeschool students, elementary kids, middle schoolers, and high schoolers.
Programs for Kids
Four season slots run year-round with audition cycles spread across the calendar. Programs include:
- Homeschool Show (auditions July, performances September)
- Christmas Show (auditions August, performances November)
- Kids Show (auditions January, performances February)
- High School Show (auditions January, performances April-May)
