Saluda Shoals Park is a 480-acre nature-and-recreation complex along the Saluda River run by Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission. The River Center, Environmental Education Center, and Leo's Landing inclusive playground anchor the property.
What Kids Can Do
Leo's Landing is a free fully-inclusive nature-based playground - treehouse village, sensory sound garden, sand exploration, and accessible structures designed for kids of all abilities. The Environmental Education Center has live native reptile and amphibian displays plus naturalist-led classes. River canoe/kayak launches access calm Saluda water for paddling. Twelve miles of paved trails for biking and stroller walks. Splash pad open Memorial Day-Labor Day [marked: park entry $5 per vehicle - some weekends crowded, arrive before 10am].

$5 per vehicle day-use. Leo's Landing playground, trails, Environmental Center, river access included. Canoe/kayak rentals and special programs priced separately.
