South Bay Football and Cheer

San Diego Youth Aztecs is a non-profit youth football and cheer organization serving the South Bay, with games and practices at Montgomery Waller Park plus additional venues at Mater Dei Catholic High School and Montgomery High School. The Aztecs field both flag and tackle teams alongside cheer programming.

Football Programs

Flag, tackle, and cheer for boys and girls ages 5 through 14. Programs include:
- Flag football for younger players
- Tackle football for older youth divisions
- Cheer program for football season
- Free football workouts during the off-season

What's Included

• Primary field at Montgomery Waller Park
• Additional venues at Mater Dei Catholic HS and Montgomery HS
• Open registration with no waiting lists

Experience

The 2026 season officially begins July 15th with registration that opened March 1st. The South Bay-based program draws families from Chula Vista, Otay Mesa, and surrounding South San Diego neighborhoods.
