The South Carolina Aquarium sits on Charleston Harbor with 60+ exhibits dedicated to Lowcountry wildlife - from mountain headwaters to deep ocean. Families come for the two-story Great Ocean Tank with 700+ animals, plus rescued sea turtles in the Sea Turtle Care Center.
What Kids Can Do
The Touch Tank lets kids gently meet rays, sea urchins, starfish, and whelks. The Coastal Plain features otters and an albino alligator.
