Southwest Austin Tackle Football and Cheer

Southwest Austin Pop Warner (the Dawgs) is a youth football and cheer association serving Southwest Austin within the Hill Country Pop Warner conference. The program practices and plays at Toney Burger Stadium (Burger Center Annex) and uses the Bowie High School JV Field for additional games.

Football Programs

Pop Warner tackle football and cheer for children ages 5 to 12. Programs include:
- Tackle football across Pop Warner age divisions
- Cheer program for football season
- Fall camp leading into the regular season

Experience

Practice begins late July with fall camp, leading into the regular season. The Dawgs draw families from Southwest Austin (78739, 78749) and surrounding neighborhoods inside the Bowie High School attendance zone.
