Theatre Tulsa Academy

Oldest community theater west of the Mississippi, training the next generation

Theatre Tulsa has produced shows downtown since 1922 and runs Theatre Tulsa Academy as its youth training arm. Classes are taught by working theater professionals connected to mainstage productions.

Academy Tracks

Three leveled musical theater programs by age:
- Broadway Beginners (ages 5-7) - basic toolkit of singing, acting, dance
- Broadway Bootcamp (ages 8-12) - intermediate technique with spring show
- Broadway Bound (ages 13-18) - advanced, fully-staged licensed musical production

Experience

The academy progresses kids through a clear pipeline from intro to professional-level musical theater. Older students perform in fully-licensed Broadway titles, which is a step up from typical youth-camp productions.
