Multilingual Community Theatre with Bilingual Youth Drama

Theatre33 is Bellevue's premier multilingual community theater offering Russian-only and bilingual English/Russian youth drama programming alongside professional adult classes and full productions at Studio33.

Youth Drama Studio and Improv

Classes run through the 2025-2026 school year with multiple language formats. Programs include:
- Youth Drama Studio (ages 9-18, bilingual English/Russian or Russian-only)
- Adult Acting Classes (parallel track)
- Intro to Improv (4-week course)
- Teen Improv Drop-In (ages 13-18)
- Improvised Character Lab
- Theatre33 Summer Camp 2026

Experience

The Russian-language and bilingual format fills a real gap on the Eastside - kids who speak Russian at home get to do theater in their primary language plus pick up English performance vocabulary. The improv programming gives adventurous teens an entry point that scripted-theater-only schools don't offer.
