Tumbleweed Park is Chandler's flagship 207-acre community park - features Playtopia, one of Arizona's largest community-built playgrounds, plus splash pad, baseball/softball complex, soccer fields, picnic shelters, and Tumbleweed Recreation Center.
What Kids Can Do
Playtopia is the marquee attraction - a 33,000-square-foot castle-themed wooden playground built by volunteers with multiple climbing structures, tunnels, and slides. Splash pad runs Memorial Day through Labor Day. Multiple baseball/softball diamonds host city leagues. Soccer fields host youth tournaments. Tumbleweed Recreation Center has indoor gym and classes (separate facility). Picnic shelters with grills for parties [marked: splash pad season May-September - Playtopia gated for safety].
