Chandler's Flagship Nature Education Park
Veterans Oasis Park spans 113 acres in southeast Chandler with a 4-mile trail system, an urban fishing lake, an outdoor amphitheater, and the city-run Environmental Education Center / Chandler Nature Center.
Field Trips, Camps, and Meet the Creature
Programs include:
- Nature Camps for ages 5-12
- Field trips with grade-specific, hands-on curriculum
- Six "Meet the Creature" exhibits (scorpion, tarantula, snakes, tortoises, trout)
- Birdwatching, gardening, stargazing programs
- Family programs and seasonal events
