The Asheville Art Museum runs family and youth programs out of its newly renovated downtown building on Pack Square, with offerings spanning newborn Tot Time through K-12 summer camps.

- Tot Time (0-5) - sensory and play-based art activities for babies and toddlers
- Summer Art Camps (K-12) - week-long themed studio camps split by age band
- Family Days - drop-in interactive art, music, and storytelling
- ArtPLAYce - permanent interactive family space inside the museum
- Express gallery tours geared to younger visitors
What's Included
Family Day activities and ArtPLAYce access are included with admission, and kids under 6 enter free. Camps are paid registration with materials covered.
Experience
The museum sits on Pack Square in downtown Asheville inside a renovated historic building expanded in 2019, with hours running Mon, Wed-Sun 11am-6pm and Thursday extended to 9pm. Closed Tuesdays. The downtown location pairs naturally with stops at neighboring restaurants and art venues.
