Brazos Park East
About
Brazos River Park With Disc Golf and Playground
Brazos Park East sits on the east bank of the Brazos River across from Cameron Park. The 87-acre city park offers river views, a championship disc golf course, hiking trails, and limestone cliff overlooks - quieter and less crowded than Cameron Park across the river.
What Kids Can Do
The playground at the park's center has equipment for toddlers through age 12 with shaded climbing structures. The 18-hole disc golf course is one of central Texas's best - kids old enough to throw can play with the free family rounds at the front nine. River walking trail extends from the boat ramp north under the I-35 bridge. Picnic pavilions with grills available for parties [marked: river boat ramp closed when water levels low - check Waco parks alerts].
What's Included
Free day-use of trails, playground, disc golf, and boat ramp. Pavilions and gazebos reservable through city parks office.
