Cameron Park is the Waco city park system's crown jewel - 416 acres of cliffs, rivers, hardwood forest, and trails wrapping the confluence of the Brazos and Bosque Rivers. Designated a National Recreation Trail.
What Kids Can Do
Lovers Leap overlook on 100-foot limestone cliffs gives sunset views over the rivers. Twenty-plus miles of trails - flat paved River Trail for strollers, technical Cameron Park MTB trails for older kids and teens. Proctor Springs has natural waterfalls kids can wade. Playgrounds at Pecan Bottoms and Brazos View. Disc golf course, picnic shelters, and historical markers throughout. What's Included
Free day-use. Picnic shelters reservable through city parks office. MTB and bike rental available at downtown bike shops. Ranger-led nature walks occasional.

Plan 2-6 hours depending on activity mix. Fully outdoor - bring water, sun protection, sturdy shoes. Multiple parking lots at different access points. Open 6am-midnight.
