Buffalo Arts Studio
About
Buffalo Arts Studio's youth program is built for teens who want serious studio time alongside working artists in the historic Tri-Main Center on Main Street.
Programs
- Youth Pottery (12-18) - hand-building and wheel-thrown projects in a supportive studio
- Youth Oil Painting (13-17) - fundamentals of oil working from still-life arrangements
- Youth Printmaking (14+) - collagraphy, intaglio, and lithography techniques
- Youth Color Pencil Drawing - mark making, layering, and blending exercises
- Fabric Faces - realistic portraits using fabric collage with art-history grounding
What's Included
Supplies are included in nearly every youth class, and Fabric Faces ships a supply list ahead of time. Classes meet across Clay Studio 508 and education rooms 506A and 506B.
Experience
The studio sits inside Tri-Main Center on Main Street, a converted industrial building filled with working artist studios. Teens get extended bench time and exposure to professional artists in the same hallways, which sets the program apart from typical after-school art classes.
