The City of Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department runs the city's official youth football programs. Operations are coordinated from the Dr. Clarence V. Cuffee Community Center on Windy Road.

Flag & Tackle Football

Programs include:
- Recreational flag football for ages 5-8
- Tackle football for ages 9-13
- City-wide registration through Parks & Recreation
- Games at multiple Chesapeake parks and rec center fields
