The YMCA Chesapeake branch on South Battlefield Boulevard hosts the YMCA of South Hampton Roads' youth flag football program for kids across the Chesapeake side of the Y's region.

Flag Football Divisions

Programs include:
- Newcomer and returning player tracks
- Spring and fall seasonal play
- No try-outs or cuts; every child plays at least half each game
- Age-grouped divisions through middle school
